Activities
Grassland Safari Lodge is a hub of excitement and adventure! While guests are welcome to relax and enjoy the unique ambiance of the lodge, there’s always something new to explore. Our exclusive location allows us to offer activities that are either unique to Grassland or exceptionally different from those found elsewhere, ensuring an unforgettable experience. Our five main activities include a comprehensive San (Bushman) experience, morning and afternoon game drives, a distinctive predator protection project, rhino tracking, and horseback safaris that bring guests closer to wildlife. Please note that horseback riding is reserved for experienced riders, and bookings must be made in advance as helmets are not provided.

Chalets
At Grassland Safari Lodge, we offer eight spacious and fully furnished chalets, complete with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds, ample closet space, and a dressing table for your convenience. Each chalet comes equipped with reliable hot water, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout your visit. With a total capacity of 16 guests, our chalets include a family suite and a variety of twin and double rooms to meet your specific needs.

In addition to our cozy chalets, our lodge features two stunning main buildings, which house both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Our accommodations include four permanent twin rooms, one permanent king room, and three flexible chalets that can be arranged as either twin or double rooms, providing a range of options to suit your preferences. Camping
For the intrepid traveler seeking an off-grid experience, Grassland Safari Lodge offers a campsite with no access to electricity. Our campsite consists of four individual sites, each of which can be booked separately or reserved exclusively for larger groups, accommodating up to five guests per site.

All four campsites are situated in a shaded area, and come equipped with running water, a fire pit, and a braaier (BBQ grill) for outdoor cooking. In addition, we provide two ablution facilities at the campsite, each with running water and a “Donkey boiler” for warm water – the wood for which is supplied by Grassland Safari Lodge. Come experience the ultimate in rugged camping adventure in the heart of the African wilderness at Grassland Safari Lodge!

Camp site rates only include the camp site per person per night. Meals, wood (not for “donkey boiler”) and activities can be added at an additional charge.
